12 Second Commute Update June 4, 2010

This is the latest update from Darryl Graham at 12 Second Commute and there is some exciting news, so please read this update.

Don't Give Up: The curse of online marketing are the quitters and the "I can'ts" of the world. They are all over the place but you just have to learn do deal with them and move on. I think back to the time about 7 years ago when I almost quit and I came very close. I had my business up for sale, I had a buyer and everything was good to go.

The reason I stayed is because at the last second the buyer tried to change the terms of the sale and offered me $5,000 less than we agreed to. That really ticked me off as he was getting a great deal anyway, so I called his bluff and told him the deal was off. He did everything possible to get me to change my mind and even offered me over $25,000 more than the original price, but I held my ground and made the decision right then and there that I was not going to quit and I was going to find a way to make things work.

Well, the rest as they say is history as my business starting picking up and I started making more money than I ever had in corporate.

Unfortunately I see too many quitters each and every day and get emails from dozens each week. As you continue your success online, you are going to see them too, but don't join them in their misery. You are better than they are and they are going to be bouncing around from free program to free program until their computer blows up.

They will never make a dime online, but they will do their best to take people down with them.

Everyone goes through difficult times and everyone has a hundred things they are dealing with, but the winners deal with it and keep moving forward while the losers and quitters, well they quit.

Working online takes time, energy, resources and tenacity and there are going to be tough times, but you can do it, you can achieve your dream and you can make it, but just don't give up.



New Incentive Service: I have heard from many people that told me they wanted a great incentive to get people to take action--whether that action is to join their list or buy their product or service.

Based on these comments, we are creating a service called Ultimate License--originally UL was a list builder that did very well, but the main problem with the original UL was that it did not give the owners of the license the ability to make money and there was no perceived value of UL to the people who got free access.

Ad Co-Op: The is the crown jewel of this update because starting next week we will launch a new ad co-op service that will do the advertising for you and all future members of 12SC.

It will only be open to paying members so if you are still a free member, you should upgrade now because this co-op is going to put 12SC way over the top.

Here is how it will work: You will be able to purchase a slot in our weekly ad co-op, the cost will be $10 per slot and you can buy up to 5 slots per week. The co-op will be directed at 12SC so you will have the ability to earn an income with 12SC and a very good income at that because all new members will be directed to the co-op as part of their 12SC process.

One of the things that is missing by most people online is the ability to advertise and that is why we are starting this service. While you use the tools, resources and training in 12SC, we will be doing the advertising for you so you will make money with our affiliate system.

You see, you could go out and spend $10 or $20 on advertising which will buy you a little advertising, but if we pool our resources together and we get 200 people investing $20 each week, we can then buy $4,000 worth of advertising that will be spread to everyone in the co-op.

Now, to make this even better, 12SC will add an additional 25% to each weekly co-op so using the above numbers if we had 200 people join the co-op and invest $20 each for a total of $4,000, 12SC will invest an an additional $1,000 so now we will spend $5,000 on advertising for that co-op.

We can buy a lot of advertising for $5,000 and this also gives us great negotiation power because if we go to an ad service and say we have $20 to spend on advertising, they probably won't even return our call, but if we go out and say we have $5,000 that we want to spend on advertising each week, they will be jumping through hoops to please us and we can get very targeted advertising that will bring in very good and qualified people.

You are still investing only $10 or $20 in advertising, but because we put our resources together, that money will go a lot further and you will see better and faster results and the same for all the new people who come in from the co-op.

Okay some people might say well why don't you just invest the $1,000 and give us free advertising. The answer is because we don't want to as that defeats the purpose of teaching people how to run their business. If you are going to succeed online, you have to advertise and paid advertising will work better than free advertising every day of the week.

Nobody will be required to join the co-op, but those who do are going to see a dramatic improvement in their 12SC business.

I was going to do a manual ad co-op this week, but SK has put this on the fast track so the automated system will be live next week and I will send an email when it is ready to go.

Once again if you are still a free member, upgrade now and especially if you have just joined within 5 days, you need to upgrade so you can get the Elite account for $19 and therefore have the ability to earn on 5 levels.

Once the ad co-op goes live, things are going to get hot with 12SC and if you miss it, well too bad because there will be tens of thousands of people joining 12SC in the coming months.



Simplified System: Another thing we are doing is to simplify the 12SC system so people are not so overwhelmed when they join. I will be working with SK on this and by the time we launch the ad co-op new members will be taken step by step, day by day through a pre-designed process that will lead them by the hand and help them get started building their prospect list and teach them how to fully utilize the 12SC system.

Getting Through The Spam Filters

In light of the spam problem, most email clients now have spam filters installed. These filters catch spam email and either move it to a ‘spam folder’ or automatically delete it. After spending a great deal of time laboring over your series of autoresponder messages, it would be a shame to find out that the majority of the messages that are sent out end up in the spam folder, or are automatically deleted as spam!

You can avoid this in two ways. First, when anyone signs up to receive information from your autoresponder, have them automatically redirected to a page that gives them instructions for ‘white listing’ you. Email clients have an actual white list where the owner of the email client can add specific addresses that should never be considered spam.

The other way to make sure that your autoresponder messages get through the spam filters is to check them using one of the various spam checkers that are available online. These programs are often web based, and free to use. They check your message for words or phrases that commonly trigger spam filters in email clients. Don’t send out any autoresponder messages without doing a spam check first!
